Saw the movie Sunday May 1st. when I first heard they were making it I thought it was to soon. After seeing it I know I truely believe more in my fellow Americans. The passengers sure are heroes in my book. It was very good.

"United 93" is a motion picture which should me required viewing in every high school throughout the nation. It must be seen by everyone - especially those who do not remember (!) 9/11/01. It must do for this era what "Remember Pearl Harbor" did for those of us who remember 07 Dec 41.

Lot of groups laid claim to hero status after 11 Sept. 01. In my book, on that day, those folks were the real heros. Borrowing from Admiral Nimits on the Battle of Iwo Jima, his desciption of the people who served there certainly fit the folks on United 93, "uncommon valor was a common virtue."

My wife and I saw the movie yesterday. They did the heroes justice. I have one complaint. The director used the stupid "hand-held jiggling camera for that IMITATION documentary feel." Not only does this make me physically ill (I had to keep looking away from the screen), it makes the movie look stupid, because it's obviously not a documentary. But I stuck it out, and I'm glad. If you're physically able to stand this technique, GO SEE THE MOVIE.

The American's of United Flight 93 should be so highly honored in one way and that is granting them the Congressional Medal of Honor. In the tradition of the Citizen Soldier like the Minuteman, the Irish Brigade, the Rough Riders, the Dough Boys and the GI Joe, these true Patriots of the American Revolution went above and beyond the call of duty to save thousands of other American lives. They were the first casualties of this nation in the defense of their nation in this Third World War. All Congress has to do is just give it to all of them. These Americans showed us that when all hope is gone they can preserve a memory for future generations what it means to love your country and there is no way you can question their love for this grand republic the United States of America.

The Americans on United Flight 93 should be considered for the Congressional Medal of Honor since in the great tradition of citizen soldiers from the Minuteman, the Irish Brigade, the Rough Riders, the Dough Boy and the GI Joe, these true American Patiots to our Revolution gave up their lives above and beyond the call of duty to save thousands of other Americans. They were the first combat casualities in this Third World War.
