The cartoons seemed familiar to our Egyptian blogger.

Read the whole thing. No, I can’t confirm this with a second source, but decide for yourself. The scan shows the front page of the paper. Seems a lot of Egyptians weren’t too perturbed by the cartoons. Syria and Iran benefit from the turmoil; and so does Al Qaeda.
